Flat, bland and uninterestingly typical. the most notable tracks are the piano ones and the sad songs. The main theme sounds cool tho, not as generic as the usual vgm ops.
This music is from a game, a visual novel to be exact. OST or original soundtrack is usually composed by 75%-100% piano strings and all instrumental. The song inside is intended for a game and Japanese songs for games are sometimes a bit different from all of the J-rock, J-pop, etc2. This may explain why you feel flat or bland about it.
